Lickbarrow Lodge is a country house at the edge of a private, five-acre woodland, on a quiet lane just 1 mile from Windermere and Bowness villages and an easy, 20-minute drive from the motorway. Guests are very welcome to explore the sunny glades and winding pathways in the very secluded private woodland. Nearer the house, the garden offers views of The Old Man of Coniston, Crinkle Crags, Bowfell and the Langdale Pikes and, just a short stroll away, footpaths take you to local viewpoints for magnificent Lakeland panoramas and stunning mountain sunsets.
